About the Role

As a Content Moderator for a top e-commerce platform, you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating user-generated content, ensuring compliance with policies and guaranteeing top-quality standards. You will leverage your local market expertise, strong communication skills, and attention to detail to maintain the integrity and safety of online content.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure Quality & Safety: Review and moderate content to ensure compliance with platform policies and e-commerce standards.

  • Policy Compliance: Apply judgment to identify policy/legal issues and escalate cases following established protocols.

  • Stay Informed: Remain knowledgeable and passionate about leading e-commerce products and services.

  • Adapt to Changes: Work flexibly with evolving guidelines, schedules, and policies.

  • Handle High Volumes: Manage peaks in content review during seasonal campaigns and promotions.

What Were Looking For

  • Fluency in Austrian German (C2l) and good command of English (B2 level).

  • Strong moderation skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Experience or a strong understanding of e-commerce and online platforms.

  • Empathy and rational decision-making, with the ability to handle sensitive content.

  • Resilience to manage high-volume tasks and rotative schedules.

What We Offer

  • Monthly Gross Salary: €1100.00 per 14 months
    Meal Allowance: €7.63/day (net) per 12 months

  • Complexity bonus: €100 per 11 months

  • Health Insurance: From Day 1 (upon NIF & NISS registration) – free after 6 months.

Contract Details

  • Duration: 6-month contract (with extension possibilities).

  • Schedule: 24/7 – rotative shifts, 2 consecutive days off per week.

  • 8-hour workday | 5-day workweek | 2 days off per week – on a rotative basis.

  • Shifts run 24/7, including weekends and holidays.

  • Your monthly shift schedule will be provided at least 1 month in advance for proper planning.

  • Night shifts are office-based and paid in accordance with Portuguese labor law (at least +25% hourly rate for night hours).

  • Final shift assignment is set by the Team Leader based on operational needs.
